PORTLAND, OREGON (June 4, 2007) — DiversiForm wins the Grand Prize for DMIA’s Peak Awards Money Maker Contest. PromoTAG a full color tag that hangs from the rear view mirror, contains a full color dispatch number, key tag and two-sides of in-vehicle advertising.

Each year the Document Management Industry Association (DMIA) holds the Peak Awards. Hundreds apply for a select number of PEAK categories. DiversiForm’s PromoTAG won the Grand Prize for the Money Maker category.

Why PromoTAG won? PromoTAG is easy to implement because most dealers already use a dispatch system, most likely a bland manila numbered mirror tag that does not coincide with ‘color’ team groups. With PromoTAG, dealers still use a numbered hang tag for their dispatch system, only now the tags are in full color to match their color service teams and contain customized ad campaigns.

Troy Williams, of Nissen Motors (Albany, Ore.), experienced a 42% increase in tire sales after advertising tires on PromoTAG. The Nissen Motors campaign worked because Troy personalized his advertisement to each customer. Troy had his Nissen Motors technicians actually write the customer’s tire wear on each tag, below the customer’s tire wear was a pre-printed message educating the consumer on when they should replace their tires based on tire wear. Images of the brands of tires they sell were also printed on the tag.
